125-Year Anniversary Campaign Information

125-Week Extended Warranty Availability

The 125-week Extended Warranty is available on selected products to celebrate the 125-year Miele anniversary. Please check out the details on the 125 Gala Edition models here.

All appliances that show the product designation “125 Gala Edition” are eligible for the 125-week Extended Warranty. Please check out the details on the 125 Gala Edition models here.

The 125-week Extended Warranty is part of the 125-year Miele anniversary offer. Purchase eligible appliances between April 1st, 2024 and September 30th, 2025 and submit registration via the app by December 31st, 2025.

The 125-week Extended Warranty is available only on selected products that have been purchased within the campaign period. It will not apply on any purchases prior to the start date of the campaign and activation of the warranty will not be possible via the Miele App*

 

 

Warranty Activation

How can I activate the 125-week Extended Warranty for my appliance?

Please ensure that your appliance is eligible for the 125-week Extended Warranty. To activate the 125-week Extended Warranty you need to connect your appliance to the Miele App*. 

Please click here or scan the QR code to download the Miele App* or open the Miele App*. Follow the instructions within the Miele App* to add your new Miele appliance. You will then automatically be prompted to activate your 125-week Extended Warranty.

If the automatic prompt to activate the Extended Warranty has already appeared in the Miele App* and was dismissed, the warranty can be activated via the warranty overview page. To display the warranty overview page, please tap the “Profile” button. If the appliance is eligible for the 125-week warranty, the warranty can be activated here.

It is not possible to redeem the 125-week Extended Warranty via the Miele website. Please activate the warranty via the Miele App*.

The warranty should be activated via the Miele App* within 30 days after appliance purchase. Activation will remain possible via the Miele App* throughout the campaign period.  

If the appliance is delivered after the end of the campaign period, please reach out to the Contact Center for support.

To successfully connect the appliance to the Miele App*, you will be asked to enter the appliance purchase date and the serial number. In many cases, the Miele App* can automatically detect your serial number during the process. If you need to manually enter the number, follow the guides inside the app or use the data tag finder to easily locate your serial number on your appliance.​

Directly after completion of the warranty activation, the warranty status in the Miele App* will be updated and show your prolonged warranty. Furthermore, a certificate with your appliance and warranty details will be sent to you via email.

 

 

Pairing or Appliance Registration via Miele App*

Please download the Miele App* from the App Store or Google Play Store. Open the app and follow the instructions to add your appliance. For step-by-step instructions of the pairing process, please also check our pairing videos.

Appliances that are eligible for the 125-week Extended Warranty are automatically recognized by the Miele App*. The activation of the 125-week Extended Warranty is a very quick and easy process. It also enables you to display the warranty status of your appliance at any time, subsequent to the activation.

In case of connectivity problems, you can still activate the 125-week Extended Warranty by registering your appliance in the Miele App*. You will automatically be prompted to activate your 125-week Extended Warranty subsequent to the registration.

You cannot activate the warranty for your appliance without a serial number. You can easily locate your serial number by using the data tag finder. If you still cannot locate your serial number, please get in touch with our Contact Center team for support.

 

 

Repair Coverage

The Extended Warranty starts directly subsequent to the standard Miele Appliance Warranty period, extending coverage by an additional 125 weeks

Yes, your 125-week Extended Warranty can be upgraded to 10 years while within the two-year appliance warranty period. Please get in touch with our Miele Contact Center.

The most important benefits of the Extended Warranty are as follows:

  • Maximum security: During the extended warranty period, there will be no repair charges for faults, unless caused by wrongful intent or gross negligence. The Extended Warranty covers all repair charges as well as spare-parts costs.
  • Reliable and fast: If the need for repair arises, our highly skilled service technicians will provide fast and reliable assistance.

The Extended Warranty is a full repair coverage and includes all repair charges as well as spare-parts costs, unless caused by wrongful intent or gross negligence. Terms and conditions apply.

The Extended Warranty does not cover:

- Faults due to improper installation  
- Damages linked to an intervention not conducted by Miele or an authorized Miele Service Partner 
- Consumables/accessories, for example, detergent, activated carbon filter, water filter 
- Defect causes outside of the device (external factors such as damage caused through transportation, impact and jolting, or natural phenomena) 
- Improper use and operation, such as the use of unsuitable detergents or chemicals as well as damage caused by the intake of fluids, construction dust or toner 
- Usage-related and natural wear and tear, such as the decreasing load performance of accumulators and components that, according to the operating instructions, must be replaced regularly during the product life cycle.

The 125-week Extended Warranty cannot be transferred to other appliances. If the appliance ownership changes, the Extended Warranty can be assigned to the new owner. Please contact Miele to validate the new owner.

Miele strives to offer prompt service in the event of a breakdown. Under the Extended Warranty, Miele Customer Service or an authorized Service Partner will support you. Terms and conditions apply.  

Repairs conducted by unauthorized service staff will not be covered by Miele.
