 sensor control (active charcoal filter) lights up

If the vapor extraction system is being operated in Vented mode, reset only the operating hours counter.

If the vapor extraction system is being operated in Recirculation mode, replace the active charcoal filter:

• Remove the cover grille.

• Remove the grease filter.

• 

• Remove the active charcoal filter.

Reset the operating hours counter:

• Press and hold the  sensor control for 3 seconds.

The sensor control will go out.

Reactivate the active charcoal filter as follows:

• 

• Remove the exhaust grille from the recirculation box. The exhaust grille is held in place by magnets.

• The active charcoal filter is breakable. When handling it, be careful not to drop it. Do not apply pressure to the honeycomb structure either.

• 

• Carefully pull the active charcoal filter out of the recirculation box by the two outer pull tabs.

• Place the active charcoal filter on a flat surface.

• The charcoal filter must not be cleaned in a dishwasher!

• It must be reactivated in an oven or in a combi-steam oven using the oven function only.
  Do not wash the charcoal filter by hand.

• Wipe the charcoal filter with a damp cloth before reactivating it. Do not use any cleaning agents.

• If your oven has a removable grease filter in the rear panel of the oven compartment, please remove it. See the operating instructions supplied with the oven for information on how to do this.

• Do not pre-heat the oven compartment. Place the charcoal filter on the rack in the center of the oven compartment.

• Turn on the oven or the oven function of your combi-steam oven and select: Convection Bake  (recirculation) 392°F (200°C).

• Odors may arise during reactivation.

  Reactivation should be carried out in a well-ventilated room. Open a window if necessary.

• Reactivation takes 60 minutes. Turn off the oven or the oven function of your combi-steam oven once this process has finished.

• Do not take the charcoal filter out of the oven or place it on heat-sensitive surfaces while it is still hot.

• Leave the active charcoal filter in the oven compartment until it has cooled down.

Reset the operating hours counter:

• Press and hold the  sensor control for 3 seconds.

The sensor control will go out.
