Manual activation/deactivation of vapor extraction (KMDA 7774, KMDA 7774-1)

Activate or deactivate vapor extraction for the cooktop manually (KMDA 7774, KMDA 7774-1). If there is an item of cookware on a cooking zone and a power level has been set for that zone (Con@ctivity), the vapor extraction will switch itself on automatically. The vapor extraction power level is set to match the cooking zone power level.

The Con@ctivity function is activated.

To set the vapor extraction power level manually, touch the corresponding sensor control on the numerical display for vapor extraction.

To deactivate vapor extraction manually, touch 0 on the numerical display for vapor extraction.

If vapor extraction is not switched off, it will turn off automatically 12 hours after the sensor control was last touched.

If vapor extraction has switched itself on automatically, deactivate the Con@ctivity function:

Touch the 0 sensor control on the numerical display for vapor extraction.
Set the required power level for vapor extraction.

Switching the cooktop off and back on again reactivates the Con@ctivity function.
