Baking with Whole Grains
Join our resident baker Kathryn Phelan as we continue our discovery of baking with steam and convection, this time with a focus on incorporating whole grain flours into our baked goods. In this class you will taste a whole grain sourdough bread, quick breads and pie dough while watching a live demo and discussing tips and tricks for handling whole grains. We have partnered with Community Grains in Oakland, CA to provide you with samples of a variety of their flours to take home and experiment with your new-found knowledge!
