Vacuum sealing stops after 5 seconds

The vacuum sealing process stops after 5 seconds. A signal sounds and the indicator light lights up red.

The glass lid is not sitting evenly. There is an object, such as the edge of a bag or some soiling, on the surface of the chamber seal.

Remove the object and/or the soiling.

Close the glass lid.

Press lightly on the black triangle on the glass lid for approx. 5 seconds.

Press the chamber seal in all the way round to make sure it is installed evenly.

The chamber seal must be replaced.
