With door open, refrigeration appliance responds as if switched off

When the door is open, the refrigeration appliance is responding in the same way as when it is switched off. Door opening is not detected. The light does not switch on when the door is opened. The display remains dark when the door is opened. The refrigeration appliance will continue to cool normally.

A magnetic field triggers a fault on the electronic. As a result, it is no longer able to detect when the door is opened. The magnetic field is generated by an electronic device (e.g., music player) placed on the refrigeration appliance.

Remove the electronic device that is generating the magnetic field from the refrigeration appliance. Do not put the device causing interference back on the refrigeration appliance, or move it to a different position.
