Has this ever happened to you? You’re planning to host a barbecue one evening, and as you leave work you make a grocery list in your head. But on arriving at the supermarket, you find that you can’t remember what you already have at home in the refrigerator. Wouldn’t it be great if you could quickly check on your smartphone? Miele makes this easy. Integrated cameras inside the fridge section give you an instant image of what you already have at home and what you need to buy for the evening ahead. This is the first time Miele is offering up to four integrated cameras in a fridge section. The cameras are located in the door of your fridge section, underneath the top shelf, and at the top of the appliance. As soon as the doors or the drawers are closed, they take pictures of specific areas of the interior, including the drawers. These images are sent to the Miele app, where you can see at any time what food you already have and what you need to buy – without even opening the refrigerator door.
