Chef Kyle Connaughton - Single Thread Farm

As the owner and chef of three Michelin-star restaurant SingleThread, Chef Kyle Connaughton redefines the concept of 'farm to fork'. He actively embraces biodiversity - reducing food waste and non-renewable energy consumption.  Sourcing vegetables harvested from his own five-acre farm, Chef Connaughton expresses a moment in time... connecting guests to the here and now through cuisine.

It's this never ending quest to do and be 'better' that Chef Connaughton shares with Miele. A refusal to compromise when it comes to honoring our planet and its inhabitants. In the multi-episode 'Stories from our only home' series, we explore this shared commitment. Illustrating how we put promise into action.

“We like to think we're a work in progress. Always looking for ways to improve. Having a partner like Miele who shares this philosophy, we know we aren't alone. It's about working together to protect and preserve what we have. When you understand everything is connected, you never take anything for granted again. That's real progress” - Chef Kyle Connaughton
