The Start/Add laundry or Start/Stop sensor control (depending on the model) has not been activated on the washing machine.
You must touch the Start/Add laundry or Start/Stop sensor control to enable operation via the Miele app. Touching the sensor control also locks the door of the washing machine.
Close the washing machine door.
Touch the Start/Add laundry or Start/Stop sensor control on the washing machine.
The washing machine can now be operated via the Miele app.
