The high spin speeds press the laundry firmly against the drum body. The laundry forms a ring. The problem particularly affects long fiber fabrics – e.g., hand towels – because the fibers get stuck in the holes in the drum.
Reduce the spin speed.
Dispense the correct amount of detergent. Dirt and detergent residues can cause the laundry to stick.
