Fault F34 or door lock

The washing machine display shows fault F34, Door lock, contact Miele Service, or The door will not lock. Contact Miele Service. The door could not be locked or the drum could not be locked on the top loader.

The drum has been overloaded.

Observe the maximum load size in accordance with the operating instructions.

Switch the appliance off and then back on again.

There is a technical fault.

Disconnect the washing machine from the power supply. Unplug the appliance or switch off the breaker.

Wait at least 2 minutes before reconnecting the washing machine to the power supply.

Then switch the washing machine on again.
