Check inlet indicator light flashes

The Check inlet indicator light flashes on the washing machine/washer-dryer. The water inlet is blocked or restricted.

The faucet is not open.

Terminate the wash program.

Turn on the faucet.

Select the program and start it again.

The inlet filter is soiled.

Sample illustrations

Clean the inlet filter:

  • Turn off the faucet.

  • Unscrew the water inlet hose from the faucet.

  • Remove the rubber seal (1) from the recess.

  • Hold the free end of the water inlet hose upside down.

    The plastic filter (2) will fall out.

  • Clean the water inlet filter.

  • The water inlet filter must be put back in place after cleaning.

  • Re-assemble in reverse order.

  • Turn on the faucet and check that the connection is watertight.

  • If water drips out, tighten the connection.

The water inlet hose is kinked.

Remove any kinks or loops from the water inlet hose.

Monitor these points for a while afterwards, as the plastic may weaken and tear. In the event of any damage, the water inlet hose must be replaced. Please contact Miele Service.

The water connection pressure in the water supply line is too low.

With the faucet fully open, at least 5 L of water should flow from the faucet within 15 s.
