The ventilation hood is configured for two types of lighting.
The ventilation hood electronic is configured for ambient lighting and overhead lighting. The installed ventilation hood only has one overhead light.
Specify the type of lighting in the voice command. Say “Alexa, tell Miele to switch on the overhead lighting on the ventilation hood.” If the ventilation hood responds, you can use this command.
Alternatively, you can have a service technician reprogram the control electronic for the ventilation hood. Contact Miele Service.
Once the control module has been reprogrammed, you can use the “Alexa, switch on the ventilation hood light” voice command.
