Fault F4

Fault F4 appears on the robot vacuum cleaner display.

The drive wheels are dirty.

Clean both drive wheels on the robot vacuum cleaner.

Check that the drive wheels can be rotated manually.

If the fault persists, please contact us or book a repair appointment online.

The robot vacuum cleaner stopped during cleaning.

If the wheels are rotating freely – for example, because the robot vacuum cleaner has got stuck in a deep-pile carpet or is caught on a cable – the robot vacuum cleaner will shut down due to overload. Another possible cause can be lack of space for the robot vacuum cleaner to pass underneath furniture.

Remove all objects obstructing the surface to be cleaned and restart the robot vacuum cleaner.

The robot vacuum cleaner is stopping repeatedly when cleaning 2 different floorings (e.g., carpet / hard floor).

If the fault keeps reoccurring in the same place, move the robot vacuum cleaner’s charging station 5 cm to the left or right to modify the cleaning routes taken by the robot vacuum cleaner.

The robot vacuum cleaner has vacuumed up shoe laces or threads.

Remove these objects and clean the roller brush as follows:

  • Remove the dust box.

  • Place the robot vacuum cleaner upside down on a level, clean surface.

  • Remove the roller brush cover.

  • Remove the roller brush.

  • Use a pair of scissors to cut any threads or hairs that have wound themselves around the roller brush. To guide the scissors, move along the guide track in the roller.

  • Remove the threads and hairs with the comb end of the cleaning brush.

  • Replace the roller brush. Make sure you position it carefully.

  • Lock the cover, making sure it clicks into place. Make sure you position it carefully.

  • Reinsert the dust box into the robot vacuum cleaner.

  • To achieve the best possible cleaning results, replace the roller brush with a new one after 1 year.

The robot vacuum cleaner stops in front of a sliding door.

If the door elements of the sliding door are held in place by magnets, the magnets will block the robot vacuum cleaner so that it cannot pass through the door.

Use the magnetic strip supplied to isolate this area or lock this area for cleaning in the app.
