The food surface is matte/cracked

The food is very matte in appearance and is very cracked on the sides and bottom.

The moisture in the oven compartment is too low.

For ovens with Moisture plus: Release the burst of steam much earlier.

For ovens without Moisture plus: Brush or spray the food with water before baking and at the end of the cooking process.
