Missing/unsuitable cookware symbol (PowerFlex)

The symbol for missing or unsuitable cookware appears on the PowerFlex cooking zone of the induction cooktop. Whenever cookware is placed in the center of a PowerFlex cooking zone, the symbol for missing or unsuitable cookware appears on the display of the PowerFlex cooking zone.

The diameter of the cookware base is too small.

Use cookware with a base of sufficient diameter.

Please note that the pot or pan diameter quoted by manufacturers often refers to the maximum diameter or diameter of the top rim. The diameter of the base (generally smaller) is more important.

The base of the cookware does not contain enough magnetic material.

Place the cookware on a specific cooking zone.
