Induction cooktop not responding

The induction cooktop no longer responds to the controls.

The fuse or breaker has tripped.

Reset the fuse or breaker (see data plate for minimum protection rating).

The system lock or safety lock is activated.

Deactivate the system lock/safety lock as described in the operating instructions.

There is a technical fault.

Disconnect the appliance from the power supply for approx. 1 minute.

Turn off the relevant breaker. Or remove the screw-in fuse completely. Or switch off the residual current device.

Switch the breaker back on.

Cooktop with touch display:
Your fingertips are covered.

Touch the touch display with bare fingers only.

Wipe protection  has been activated.

Deactivate wipe protection.

You touched the touch display while holding an item of cookware.

Only touch the touch display when both of your hands are free.

The touch display is dirty.

Remove any dirt or grime.
