Electric barbecue cannot be extended

The electric barbecue cannot be extended.

Some dirt has got stuck in the gap around the browning unit or a foreign object has got caught inside it.

For thorough and gentle cleaning of your cooktop, we recommend Miele products which also care for your appliance at the same time.

Clean the electric barbecue and/or remove the obstruction.

The breaker in the building’s wiring system has tripped.

Check the breaker in the building’s wiring system.

If the problem cannot be resolved, disconnect the appliance from the power supply for approx. 1 minute.
To disconnect the appliance from the power supply, turn off the relevant breaker or remove the screw-in fuse completely. Or switch off the residual current device.
