Ground coffee ejected without brewing

The coffee machine is ejecting dry ground coffee from previously ground beans without brewing coffee.

The quantity of ground coffee from previously ground coffee beans put into the machine is not sufficient to dispense a drink.

To make drinks using ready-ground coffee, add a portion of ground coffee to the ground coffee chute. Only 1 portion of coffee or espresso can be made at a time when using ready-ground coffee.

Some coffee machine models are supplied with a coffee scoop. Use the scoop supplied with the appliance to ensure that the correct amount of ground coffee is used.

CM 7xxx: When using the coffee scoop supplied:
Put exactly 2 level coffee scoops of ground coffee in the ground coffee chute of the coffee machine.

CM 6xxx, CVA xxxx: When using the coffee scoop supplied:
Put exactly 1 level coffee scoop of ground coffee in the ground coffee chute of the coffee machine.

CM 5xxx: Put exactly 12 g of ground coffee powder in the ground coffee chute of the coffee machine.

The preparation of drinks with ground coffee was not confirmed with yes.

If you select no, the ground coffee will be disposed of in the grounds container without being brewed. The coffee machine rinses itself.

CVA 68xx: If you do not select a drink within approx. 15 seconds, the ground coffee is also disposed of in the grounds container.

This is not a fault.
