The appliance automatically prompts you to empty the grounds container every 48 hours or every 72 hours.
Emptying the container prevents coffee grounds being left in the machine, which could cause mold to grow.
If the grounds container is emptied when the appliance is switched off, the appliance cannot register the process.
This is a preventive measure, so no rectification is necessary.
