Empty and reinsert the drip tray and the grounds container appears on the coffee machine display. The message is displayed even though the drip tray and grounds container have been emptied and reinserted.
The internal counter is not reset when the drip tray and grounds container are emptied after the coffee machine has been switched off.
Empty the drip tray and grounds container when the coffee machine is switched on.
Clean the contacts (metal disks) and the space between them carefully, e.g., using a brush. Dry all parts thoroughly.
The contacts will not be able to detect that the drip tray is full if they are damp or dirty. Check the contacts and the area around them once a week.
Contact Miele Service to order a new grounds container.
Remove the drip tray and the grounds container.
Wait a moment.
Reinsert the drip tray and the grounds container.
