The coffee machine was switched on when the milk valve was removed. The appliance door was closed with the milk valve removed.
If the coffee machine is switched on, the milk valve is moved to the operating position as soon as the appliance door is closed.
If the milk valve holder is missing from the coffee machine, the milk valve remains in an undefined position.
It is not always possible for the milk valve holder to engage in this position.
Close and open the appliance door.
Insert the holder without the stainless steel bolt and silicone seal until it audibly engages.
If the holder is unable to engage, close and reopen the appliance door again until the holder is able to engage.
When the holder engages, close the appliance door and wait until initialization is complete.
The drinks menu is displayed.
Then reinsert the entire milk valve as follows:
Open the appliance door and remove the holder. Leave the appliance door open.
Insert the stainless steel bolt from above.
Insert the silicone seal into the milk valve holder.
Insert the holder with the silicone seal until it audibly clicks into place.
Important to note before removing and cleaning the milk valve: Switch off the coffee machine.
Only remove the milk valve when the coffee machine is switched off.
Do not switch on the coffee machine while the milk valve is removed.
