Horrible, but Ihave no choice but to recommend it because it is essential to the dishwasher function.
I had to replace the filter because a small plastic part inside the filter broke and I could not reinstall the filter after cleaning it. In my opinion, the small plastic part inside the filter would not have broken if it was metal instead of plastic.
This filter should have been sold and shipped preassembled because it was almost impossible to assemble. The directions were confusing and incorrect. I was not able to install the first one that I assembled. I had to order a second one. Thanks to a YouTube video and a friend, I was able to install it and use my dishwasher after four weeks.
Another issue/disappointment is that this filter is not sold locally. It has to be order from Miele in New Jersey. I live in California. Delivery is at least one week from the order date. So, a further delay in using my dishwasher.
I bought my Miele dishwasher in 2021 and I love it. This is the first problem that I have had with it. However, if this process is what I can expect in the future, I will replace it with a non Miele dishwasher.
