Expensive, but better than nothing.
Though directed to this product (trim rings for halogen bulb sockets in an old Miele range hood) by the Miele site's automated stock-finder, the rings' attachment posts do not fit in the slots provided in the unit, however, as these slots made it impossible to remove the rings without damage, the friction-fit I resorted to may be a better choice. I gather that halogen bulbs have a high UV component, so it is best not to use them unfiltered, so I suppose my quite expensive bodge is better than nothing.
