Miele Introduces Obsidian Black Finish to Generation 7000 ArtLine Built-in Cooking Appliances
New Colorway Brings Seamless All-Black Finish to Built-In, Handleless Oven Offerings
Miele, the world’s largest manufacturer of premium domestic appliances, has added the Obsidian Black finish to its ArtLine built-in oven portfolio. Free of stainless steel, Obsidian Black offers stunning yet understated elegance to any kitchen. As an alternative to the pre-existing Graphite Grey color, the Obsidian Black finish brings increased flexibility for kitchen designers and consumers.

The finish is available for the brand’s 30” ArtLine Convection Oven, 30” ArtLine Speed Oven and 30” ArtLine Combi-Steam Ovens*, in addition to the brand’s VitroLine appliances, which offer the sleek single-color look with an added handle for convenience.
“Timeless and sophisticated, Obsidian Black is a choice that works effortlessly across kitchen styles,” said Dirk Sappok, Director of Category Management, Kitchen Appliances,Miele North American Region. “The finish’s versatility allows the appliance to blend seamlessly with the neutral tones and minimalist designs that continue to dominate kitchen trends, while also complementing bold, colorful spaces. We’re thrilled to introduce this new all-black finish option to inspire designers and customers.”
