Miele to Launch First Ever Freestanding Refrigeration

30” Units for Replacement, Remodels and New Kitchen Builds

Princeton, NJ – Miele, the largest family-owned luxury appliance manufacturer, debuting an entirely new line-up of cooling products at the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS). The all-new 30” Freestanding Bottom-Mount Refrigerator is the first freestanding refrigerator Miele will offer in the US market.

“Offering freestanding refrigeration is an exciting opportunity for us,” says Dirk Sappok, Directory of Production Development for Miele USA. “Consumers can now look to Miele’s freestanding unit to fill pre-existing niches in their kitchen or incorporate them in new kitchens and renovations.”

The new unit will feature some of the highlights consumers expect from Miele including Energy Star Efficiency, LED lighting, CleanTouch Steel™ doors, and optimal food preservation. However, this freestanding model will also include a new Soft Close Door and EasyOpen Lever.

The freezer will come with a plumbed icemaker and DynaCool technology for optimal circulation and a uniform distribution of cool air.

The KFN 15943 DE is set to launch in Q1 2018.
