Miele to Exhibit Latest Product Innovations at 2017 Architectural Digest Design Show
Industry Leader to Highlight Refrigerators, Dishwashers, Ironing Systems and More
Princeton, NJ – Miele, the largest global family-owned luxury appliance manufacturer, will debut an assortment of new products and innovations that embody the company’s brand promise of Immer Besser, meaning “Forever Better” at the 2017 Architectural Digest Design Show, in New York, NY from March 16-19.
The Miele booth (255) at this year’s AD show will showcase new additions to five different product categories ranging from refrigeration to dishwashers, laundry care, ovens/steamers and ventilation hoods. Each product highlights Miele’s latest developments in design, technology, convenience, and environmental friendliness, alongside the dependability and durability standards clients expect in a Miele product.
New Product Highlights
PureLine DGC 6865 XXL Combi-Steam Oven
The beloved Miele Generation 6000 Combi-Steam oven is now available in XXL sizing. Truly a standalone product, the oven is considered a 3-in-1 appliance, meaning it can utilize convection cooking technology, steam cooking technology and a combination of both technologies at once, making it the only oven needed in the kitchen. The XXL Combi-Steam oven is 41% larger than the XL unit and comes with a total of four shelf levels as well as a wireless roast probe for precise temperature control. Through Miele’s exclusive MultiSteam technology, the oven delivers powerful external steam generation and optimum steam distribution via 6 inlet ports. Like existing Generation 6000 cooking appliances, the XXL Combi-Steam Oven comes with M Touch controls, MasterChef semi-automatic and MasterChef Gourmet fully automatic cooking programs that offer more than 100 different menu options.
PerfectCool French Door Refrigerator
The PerfectCool French Door Refrigerator was the first product launch of 2017 for Miele. This new 36-inch option is the first French Door refrigerator by Miele and is fully integrated for endless design possibilities using custom panels to fit any kitchen décor. The soft-closing French Doors and Double-Freezer Drawers provide maximum capacity, while Miele’s exclusive PerfectFresh preservation system lets consumers customize temperature zones and air humidity levels for specific perishables. Additional features include a plumbed IceMaker, Gallon Door Bins, and Comfort Clean Door Bins as complementary conveniences.
EcoFlex Dishwashers
Miele’s EcoFlex dishwashers were created to offer solutions to consumer needs: reliable cleaning and drying results, short cycle times and flexible organization. Featuring adjustable 3D+ baskets, the new QuickIntenseWash program and connection with the new Miele@Mobile app, Miele’s EcoFlex dishwashers will wash and dry dishware and cutlery in just under an hour, without compromising cleaning performance.
FashionMaster Premium Ironing System
The FashionMaster Premium Ironing System is the latest addition to Miele’s laundry care portfolio. With a combination of a light-weight iron featuring a patented honeycomb soleplate, ironing board with integrated fans, powerful steam, and intuitive controls, the FashionMaster provides the best possible care for every fabric type. With its speed, ease-of-use and versatility, Miele’s FashionMaster is set to be a game-changer in the ironing category.
Levantar Downdraft Ventilation Hood
Miele is introducing two new sleek and modern Downdraft Ventilation Hoods to the US market. The stylish and space efficient ventilation units (30” DA 6881 and 36” DA 6891) integrate a Telescopic downdraft system that raises 16" over a cooktop surface – perfect for compact kitchen spaces lacking room for an overhead ventilation hood. Other features include touch on glass controls, LED ClearView lighting with dim function, four fan speeds, and dishwasher-safe stainless steel filters hidden behind black glass panels.
Black Wing Ventilation Hood Prototype
As Americans spend more and more time in the kitchen, efficient and easy-to-use appliances are more important than ever. The Black Wing ventilation hood by Miele is effective, stylish and provides a source of entertainment. The range hood achieves high marks for air recirculation, removal of odors, and very low operating sound levels. The low sound levels of the ventilation hood at work allows for the playing of music via Bluetooth speakers connected to a smartphone or tablet. A compact amplifier and two loudspeakers invisibly stowed away inside the unit, ensure optimal sound.
Also on display in Miele’s booth will be an assortment of MasterCool Refrigeration, Ranges, Generation 6000 Built-in Appliances, as well as the current laundry and floor care product lines.
