Appliances Feature Purposeful, Industry-Leading Technology in Cooking, Cleaning, Cooling and Coffee Systems

Miele, the largest family-owned German premium appliance manufacturer, is showcasing their latest innovations at the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS), from January 31 to February 2, in Las Vegas. With a focus on purposeful technology, ultimate performance, unique design and enhanced functionality, Miele is driving innovation and leading the industry in cooking, cooling, cleaning, and coffee appliances more than ever before.

Kitchen and Bath Industry Show attendees will be able to experience the latest technology from Miele across cooking, cooling, cleaning and coffee systems with key highlights including:   

CM6 MilkPerfection Coffee System – Beverage Menu

The CM6 MilkPerfection is easy to operate from the touch of a button. Simply explore the unique Beverage Menu to choose from an expanded selection of 20 varieties of beverages. From coffee, espresso and tea to macchiatos and cappuccinos, users can customize everything from the quantities of water, milk and even froth to suit their preferences. Further settings, such as the quantity of ground coffee or water, water temperature and pre-brewing option, can be stored (subject to the model) in four or eight custom user profiles.

By using the Miele app and WifiC@nnect, users can also operate the CM6 from their mobile device – making their coffee even more convenient. Users can check the current cleaning status of the machine, start prepping a beverage remotely via MobileControl. The Miele@Home app also offers a BaristaAssistant, which guides users systematically through a tasting session to ensure that they get the perfect cup of coffee. These machine settings can be stored as a personal taste profile.

G7000 Dishwasher AutoDos with PowerDisk

Select G7000 Dishwashers feature the brand’s first-to-market innovative AutoDos technology with integrated PowerDisk® technology, which automatically dispenses the precise amount of detergent based on the cycle chosen and the soiling level of the dishes. With rinse aid incorporated, the PowerDisk®’s quick dissolving powder detergent contains special enzymes for an effective wash, as well as active oxygen for thorough cleanliness and freshness. While the PowerDisk® holds enough detergent for about 20 cycles (average use in one month), users still have the option to use traditional detergent or tabs and rinse aid as well. enabled through With WifiConn@ct and the Miele@Home app, users can also stop, start, schedule and monitor their cleaning cycles, as well as check on the status of their PowerDisk® and quickly reorder when necessary, through the app.

AutoDos technology saves consumers more time – they can start the dishwasher while on-the-go and they never have to worry about having to rewash any dishes with a perfect clean after each cycle.

Miele Combi-Steam Oven – Mix & Match Cooking Feature

As its most powerful Combi-Steam oven to date, the Miele Generation 7000 appliance brings steam to seal in flavor and nutrients fast and maintains extremely uniform temperature and humidity throughout the oven.

The highlighted feature of the Combi-Steam oven is Miele Mix & Match, a new cooking feature that allows users to cook or reheat simply by using the oven’s control panel or select the exact food items from the app and send the cooking instructions directly to the oven. Simply place the food in the oven, hit start, and a perfectly prepared meal will be ready in minutes. With Miele Mix & Match, any combination of food preparation is possible.

Take burgers and French fries, for example - place the food in the oven, hit start, and a simultaneously prepared meal that is perfectly crispy and tender, as burgers and fries should be, will be ready in minutes.

The Combi-Steam oven also features TwinPower Convection Fans and DualSteam Technology with a 3.3 kW external steam generator allow for powerful, precise results. It’s so uniform that settings can be made in one-degree increments and sous vide cooking is possible. The combination mode allows users to regulate the cooking method, temperature and moisture level. Other unique features are the limitless combi- cooking automatic programs for meats, vegetables and grains included in the oven’s food-driven menu cooking system, enabled by Wi-Fi through the Miele@mobile app, as well as MotionReact, whereby the appliance responds when approached. The oven is able to anticipate the user's next moves and automatically switch on when the user approaches, activating the oven lighting or deactivating the ringtone at the end of a program.

Miele Cooling – MasterCool^TM and PerfectFresh Technology

To preserve the flavors and freshness of nature to its fullest, Miele MasterCool^TM appliances provide the perfect climate for food storage. Thanks to its range of cooling compartments and innovative technology, food stays fresh up to three times longer. The refrigerator and freezer have separate cooling circuits – ensuring an optimal climate in both.

PerfectCool will introduce PerfectFresh Active, a freshness system that actively humidifies the refrigerator’s vegetable drawer. Refrigerators with PerfectFresh Active are fitted with a water container in the PerfectCool base unit, which converts water droplets into vapor and releases the mist in the drawer automatically every 90 minutes and every time a user opens the refrigerator door. For those seeking a connected experience, Miele has added connectivity via its Miele@Home app and WifiConn@ct to units featuring this technology. Users will be able to view and change the temperature and check on their appliances from any smart device.

W1 Washing Machine TwinDos – Automatic Liquid Detergent Dispending System

Miele W1 Washing Machines feature the company’s exclusive TwinDos system, is the industry’s first two-phase automatic liquid detergent dispending system, which saves 30 percent, on average, on detergent versus manually loading. This feature operates in two stages with UltraPhase1 combating grease and removing soiling while UltraPhase2 removes stubborn stains. Each phase dispenses the proper amount of liquid based on load size, type of fabric and programmed level of soiling and staining. Using the two phases, TwinDos is able to keep colors from fading while keeping white clothes bright and crisp.

In addition to TwinDos, select models of Miele W1 Washing Machines also feature CapDos, another industry first, that is a one-time use capsule which automatically adds special detergents and fabric conditioners that are specifically formulated for different types of clothes including sport, outdoor, down, wool, and silk. Each Cap, which is optimally dispensed during the wash cycle, has a matching wash program, taking all guesswork out of washing even the most delicate items. Using the Miele ‘spin and spray’ technology, QuickIntenseWash, also proves that a regular load of laundry can be washed in less than 60 minutes with perfect results.
