Miele Continues Induction Expansion

New Range and Line of Cooktops Offer a Sustainable Solution with Premium Performance

Miele, the world’s largest manufacturer of premium domestic appliances, will introduce an expansion to its induction offerings at the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS), which will run from February 27-29, 2024 in Las Vegas.

A new discovery 30” Induction Range and frameless KM7000 Induction Cooktops provide a solution for homeowners looking for a safer, sleek design, easy to clean and more efficient cooking technology.

“More and more homeowners are looking to incorporate these safe, energy-efficient and responsive appliances in their kitchens,” said Kelly Lam, Vice President, Marketing at Miele USA. “Miele has been offering induction cooking for over a few decades, but we are pleased to offer a full induction offering to the consumer.”

New models within the KM7000 series by Miele will offer the same best in class performance but with a sleek, unobtrusive look, without a stainless-steel frame for a subdued, seamless design. A few additional benefits of these cooktops include: PowerFlex area that can be used as an individual cooking space or combined to provide a larger cooking surface, an always cool cooking surface, auto-off and pan detection and Wi-Fi connectivity; easy cleaning with the ability to wipe of spills and splatter as they happen; higher air quality without the use of heat and flames.

Key features of this new line include:

  • Smart Select Controls: Only activated when a pan comes in contact with the surface, this easy-to-read yellow color control provides access to select the needed power.
  • PowerFlex Area: Versatile cooking area can be combined to accommodate larger cooking vessels.
  • Auto Heat-Up: This function reduces the initial power boost to prevent burning.
  • Stop & Go: With this function, all cooking zones can be reduced to power level one simultaneously for extra safety and to prevent burning.
  • Keeping Warm:  Food ready to serve: The keep warm function controls the temperature in the pan base and prevents food burning.
  • Con@ctivity: These models also feature the proven Miele Con@activity function with which the ventilation hood above can be controlled by the cooktop. They can be connected via WiFi and integrated into the Miele@Home app.

The new Miele HR 1422 I 30” Induction Range will offer sustainably efficient, high-performance cooking at discovery price point. Its sleek design complements any Miele kitchen, while ensuring professional cooking results. Key features of this model include:

  • Four Induction Cooking Zones: State-of-the-art cooktop technology with plenty of room for various cooking vessels.
  • TwinPower: Boosters provide fast heating time and even heat distribution.
  • DirectSelect: Turn dial operation with display provides easy-to-use functionality.
  • Self-cleaning: True self-cleaning function only requires minimal cleaning effort from the user. Food residue is turned to ash, only needing a quick sweep to empty the appliance.
