The following message appears on the coffee machine display: The descaling process could not be carried out correctly: Water level too high. Please repeat process (CVA 7xxx).

The water container has been filled with too much water.

Repeat the descaling process and follow the correct sequence:

  1. Water container mark descaling symbol | Miele coffee machine

  2. Fill the water container with lukewarm water as far as the mark with the descaling symbol .

  3. Add 2 descaling tablets to the water container.

  4. Reinsert the water container.

  5. Close the door.

The display message disappears. The descaling process is started.

The descaling process was started immediately after dispensing a milk-based drink.

Switch the coffee machine off and on again.

Repeat the descaling process.
