Broccoli and Cheddar Frittata

Let your Combi-Steam oven do it’s magic for a healthy and easy breakfast.  We love this recipe because it’s ‘Twelve eggs in twelve minutes’ for a fancy breakfast!


12 large eggs
1 cup coarsely chopped fresh broccoli
1/4 cup green onion, sliced
1 cup grated good quality sharp cheddar cheese, divided
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper


  1. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, until blended. Add 1 cup cheese, broccoli, green onion, salt and pepper. Pour egg mixture into Miele round baking tray.
  2. Slide the Combi-Steam oven wire rack into the first runner place the baking tin on the oven rack.
  3. Program the oven. Operating modes / Steam Cooking / 212°F / 12 minutes. 
  4. Remove from oven, serve immediately, and cut into wedges with a pizza wheel.
