Barbequed Baby Back Ribs
Nothing is more enjoyable than sitting down to dinner and diving into tender, fall-off-the-bone BBQ Ribs. But one thing can make it better - a simple recipe that does all the work for you. Using your Miele Steam Oven allows you to make tender and delicious BBQ Ribs that you don't event have step outside for! You'll love this easy simple dinner that will sure to wow your family.
2 racks pork baby back ribs (about 32 riblets)
Homemade barbecue sauce or good-quality jarred sauce
- Coat ribs generously on both sides with barbecue sauce and let sit for 15 minutes and up to 4 hours. Place them in the large perforated steam tray. Slide Universal Tray into Level 1 to act as a drip tray and ribs on Level 2. Select Operating Modes, Steam Cooking and set at 212 degrees for 2 hours.
- When the program has finished, remove ribs from the oven. Empty the drippings from the Universal Tray and place the ribs in that tray. Recoat the ribs on both sides with extra barbecue sauce.
- Place ribs on Level 2 and set the oven to Operating Modes, Maxi Broil, Level 3 and set the timer for 15 minutes. This mode will caramelize the barbecue sauce to make the outside crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let sit for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy these fall off the bone baby back ribs immediately!
